Why You Need to Dump These 3 Thoughts ASAP!

Are the words ‘limiting beliefs’ overrated or maybe expressed too often? Do you even know what they mean? To be perfectly honest with you, I didn’t for the longest time. I thought it was some higher power woowoo term for who knows what. I just didn’t give it much thought. I sure do now! Seems even me, positive optimistic Iva has limiting beliefs. Who knew?

I’ve been spending an awful lot of time lately working on myself and improving my life in all areas. Health, happiness, love, abundance, you name it, I’m doing it. Personal growth work never stops. The more you work on yourself, the better you become each day. You can’t just do work for one month and then say to yourself “Ok I got it, I’m good now”.

Nope. Doesn’t work like that. Wanna know why?

The limiting beliefs we battle daily

We have about 50,000–70,000 thoughts a day (though sometimes I feel like I have that many in one hour!). Trust me, they aren’t all positive and some of them hold negative self talk or they are limiting beliefs. So there are the usual ones that go something like this:

“I’m so fat”

“My skin is bad”

“These jeans make me look too thin”

You know the usual body image bashing ones. I battle these ones too. As I age I am noticing more wrinkles, less strength, more flab, you know typical stuff. But….

The real damaging limiting beliefs are these ones right here and you need to drop them immediately if you want to be happy, have peace with yourself, attract good things in your life and accomplish your life goals!!

Here we go, in no particular order of importance:

If you want to change your life, get rid of these thoughts right f***ing now!

I can’t do this

I’m talking about the things that you absolutely positively CAN do if you just put your mind to it and take action! Lemme give you a good example. I often get other people to tackle projects on my site because I know nothing about WordPress or how to customize it or anything like that. Well today that all changed. I decided to take matters in my own hands and learn the darn thing!!!

It was hours of pulling out my hair, watching tutorials and throwing my hands up in the air but I finally did what I set out to accomplish. I did it myself after years of saying I CAN’T, I finally switched that limiting belief to ” I’m gonna give it a shot and do it myself”. It wasn’t easy but it was worth it.

I can now scratch that limiting belief off my list!

I’ll never have success or a great life

You need to axe this one from your vocabulary and thought pattern right now. We are all deserving of a great life and success but you have to go after it! You have to want it so bad you can taste it. You have to pick something, a goal or a dream you want to realize and hunt it down like a pitbull. Stop at nothing.

Yes it takes hard work but nothing good comes easy. Can you imagine if everything was just handed to us all the time? As nice as that sounds, in the end, they are unrewarding ‘things’. Great rewards come in doing something yourself and accomplishing them!!

I recently started listening to and applying the techniques and tools from this program and my mind is blown by all the great things that are happening in my life now because I’ve switched my limiting beliefs to ‘go get ’em’ ones!!

I’m never have enough money

Though it’s hard to start shouting out positive affirmations (trust me, I get this) and they don’t sound very genuine or sincere or even powerful as we are saying them, there’s still a way to switch off the ‘I’m broke’ broken record. I have always had a hard time with affirmations.

They sound ridiculous to me at times. So what I’ve been doing is stopping myself immediately when a negative thought comes in and say to myself ‘Iva,what are you manifesting right now’? More crap obviously.

This method is super quick and snaps you back into reality. Remember, your thoughts manifest your life. If you choose crappy thoughts, well, you guess it, you manifest a crappy life! Keep that in mind!

Your thoughts create your life

Next time you catch yourself in a negative thought stop immediately and say to yourself or out loud “what am I manifesting right now?”. That should help you!
