Why Negative Stories Captivate Us More Than Happy Ones

Sorry about the morbid subtitle. Especially coming from the happy quintessential optimist who goes around sprinkling sunshine and pixie dust everywhere. Even though I love what I do and will do it until the day I die, I am now realizing my voice has to go up against evil.

It’s a tough battle, trust me.

And apparently, evil is winning.

Now I don’t mean evil like demons and monsters, er, wait maybe I do.

Lemme explain…

I took some time the other day to go through some old posts that did really well on Medium, and I looked at a bunch of other posts here from others on Medium to see how they stacked up.
