What’s On Your Bucket List?
Mine’s empty…but
I’ll be honest, I’ve never really been fond of the term ‘bucket list’. I wonder how it came to be. There are things I want to do, places I want to see. Are they bucket list things? I dunno. To me, they are things in a cloud bubble over my head waiting to be done.
So the other day the lovely Miss Bonnie Barton tagged me in a bucket list prompt and I couldn’t decline. Though I’m not a bucket list girl there is one thing that I’ve been dying to do for a long time and next month I’ll actually be doing it.
Since the death of my mom back in February of this year (dad died 5 years ago) I was fortunate enough to receive a nice inheritance. Not travel the world for the rest of my life kind of inheritance but nice enough so that I definitely can travel a wee bit.
And I’ve been doing just that. Last month I went across the US in an RV that was also a ‘bucket list’ thing. The whole trip was a fucking nightmare but I’m glad I did it nonetheless. You can read more about it here:
