What Happens When a Writer Meets a Reader in Person

You really don’t know what to expect but you hope for the best. Our meeting turned out quite unexpectedly!!

Quite a few months ago I noticed a new reader commenting on my articles. This always makes me happy! I love when readers engage and share their own personal stories as well.

Honestly, I love meeting new people even though I talk a lot about how people are exhausting and annoying.

They are. But not everyone…anyway.

As she engaged more I noticed we had a lot of things in common. Not only are we around the same age but:

• we both love dogs 🐾
• we both left our countries for a better life
• we both love dogs 🐾
• we both don’t give a fuck what people think of us
• we both love dogs 🐾
• dogs 🐾

Ok ok, you get it.

So she left the US for Honduras, I left Canada for Guatemala. And now for a little geography lesson.
