We Need to Stop Having Pissing Contests About Our Pain
Size doesn’t matter
Let’s face it, we have all had our fair share of challenges in life. Marriage breakdowns, financial ruins, crippling diseases, abuse, sudden death of loved ones, need I go on?
We all think our pain is the worst imaginable. No one can understand or feel our pain and it’s true. No one will ever know the depths of your pain. Whether it be from the loss of a dog or the breakup of marriage.
No matter how you slice it, pain is pain and it hurts (sorry that was a bad pun) but we all feel and react to pain differently.
I need to raise some awareness to how each and every one of us feels pain differently and though you think your pain is more horrific than my pain, this isn’t a pissing contest.
What some people think is chaos, others think is normal. It’s called perspective.
