This was awesome and it came at a good time for me. I grew up thinking, and constantly being told, I was a failure and a disappointment and I will never amount to anything and bla bla bla. You get the idea. So when I get any type of praise I wear it like a fucking crown on my head hoping someone will see it just to prove to my parents “there, ya happy now?” I know, it’s pathetic. I really enjoyed this post. It actually put things into perspective for me a wee bit and brought me back down to planet earth.
