Thank God I never had an addiction to alcohol though I've seen many of my friends struggle with alcoholism. My addiction was always nicotine (smoking) and it was a hard core battle giving that up.

Anyway you look at it, addictions suck and battling them, though is beautiful and rewarding, is a daily fight and it's fucking exhausting.
