My first solo travel journey was 6 years ago to Guatemala. I was terrified out of my tree. Once I realized how friggin amazing it was I continued to do it. I only have 7 countries under my belt, each trip was scary and exhilarating at the same time. The fear does lessen each time but I still feel it a wee bit.
