I Ran a Peculiar Experiment in My Town
And the results didn’t surprise me
I live in a smallish tourist town in Guatemala. Panajachel to be exact. It’s one of the dozen or so little towns around Lake Atitlan. To say it’s beautiful here is an understatement. It’s magical and breathtaking.
The population here is approximately 15,000 but it fluctuates with the seasons. Right now rainy season is upon us so many ‘snow birds’ go back home and will return in October when the rains stop.
It’s an indigenous town with many of the locals (women and men) wearing traditional clothing, traje.
It’s quite beautiful but it’s especially friggin adorable when you see a young Guatemalan girl in traje.
Oh, the people that you meet
Recently, I’ve been feeling kinda fat and gross (I’m neither by the way) so I’ve decided to start taking walks around town in the morning for some much needed exercise.
