Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately, you’ll know that Intermittent Fasting, Full Day Fasting, 24–72 Hour Fasting, and The Keto Diet are all a big thing these days.

So, before we begin this, I have a confession to make. I love food. A lot. Like, I really freaking love food and love to eat everything. Well, almost everything. How I don’t weigh 600 lbs is still a mystery to me.

Oddly enough, I’m quite thin. I sit at around 126 lbs at 5'4", mind you, with being a little over 61 years old, I got this little cupcake top (some would call it a muffin top, but I don’t really like muffins) going on that I have a hard time managing.

It is what it is. I feel I still look pretty damn good for a woman my age.

So why on earth would I fast for 46 hours then, right?

It’s not just for weight loss anymore

Yes, you can most certainly fast for weight loss, and that’s probably the main reason most people fast. To lose weight.

Clearly, that’s not my problem, so why then would I fast for 46 hours? Makes no sense! Or does it?
