Back in September of 2024, I wrote an article about how Google decimated blogging and how so many bloggers have been scrambling to make ends meet. I’ll link that article at the end of this one.

It was hard. Websites went up for sale, and bloggers went back to work and got ‘real’ jobs to pay bills. It was a nightmare.

I sold one website but don’t have the option to get a ‘real’ job as I live in Guatemala, so I had to figure my shit out.

Then, in October, I wrote another article about how I planned to replace all the income I lost when my website traffic tanked. I’ll link that at the bottom as well.

To say 2024 was a tough year for bloggers is an understatement.

I’m an optimist

I’m a pretty optimistic person, and I’m also a fighter, not a quitter. I figure shit out. My income tanked hard and fast, so I needed to pivot and find another income source.

So I did just that.

Oh, don’t get me wrong. I also grieved, yelled, cried, and freaked out a lot. I’m not perfect.
