Have you ever heard of the term ‘death cleaning’? It’s actually called Swedish Death Cleaning.

It’s the process of decluttering and organizing your possessions before you die so that your family isn’t stuck wondering what to do with all your shit after you’re gone.

And trust me, they don’t want this burden.

Many families have been left scratching their heads, wondering what on earth to do with that — — — — — — < insert random object here.

Arguments start, and relationships end. It can get that bad.

Now, unless you feel your kids deserve to be tortured long after you’re gone, fighting over your belongings, I suggest getting your affairs and clutter in order before the ‘day.’

And honestly, the sooner, the better because, let’s face it, we don’t know when our time is up.

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s dive a little deeper into what death cleaning is, how emotionally draining and exhausting it can get and how to get started.
