How it all begins
I can’t say I’m a cat person. I never really was. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I like cats, though I honestly prefer kittens and wish they would stay tiny forever.
But cats are ok.
They aren’t quite as affectionate and loyal as dogs are (I’m sure many of you will argue this point; that’s cool). I’m a dog person. I hope to be the ‘Crazy Dog Lady’ one day.
How it all started
It’s important to know one thing before I share with you how you can become a crazy cat lady.
I live in a small town in Guatemala, and there are literally hundreds of stray dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens. It’s a serious problem here—there are so many animals and not enough adopters.
If you have a big yard, a big heart, and a big budget, you can end up with a shit ton of 4 legged critters. I only have 2 of those things 😉.
It’s not hard to end up with a bunch of rescues living here.
My cat adopted me. I didn’t want her. She was a pain in the ass, to be honest.
She ‘belonged’ to the people below me, but they rarely cared for her. She was a tiny peanut with a contagious skin disease…
