I was chatting with my sister today, and she shared something with me and then said, “That’s your pearl of wisdom for the day.” I can’t even remember the last time I heard that expression, and not once have I ever used it in a sentence—until now.
An interesting conversation ensued, and here we are.
I realized that I’m now at the age where I can actually dole out pearls of wisdom—I’m that many years old.
When did that happen? Man, time flies. Life is short.
Anyway, without further ado, here we go…

Some are my own that I honestly never thought were pearls of wisdom until my sis used that term, and some are just commonly known and don’t belong to anyone (I guess, but you can correct me in the comments if I’m wrong).
