Follow all these pieces of advice before you turn 50 (or basically before you die), and your life will be filled with magic, abundance, unicorns, and……… wait a sec.

You don’t really think I have that many pieces of advice, do you? I mean, I could probably come up with that many, but honestly, who has time to read them anyway?

I sure as fuck don’t.

Now before I start, I’m not shitting on anyone who writes up “30 pieces of advice to your 30 year old self” or “25 things you should know before you turn 25”. I’ve actually read some of them, and I think they’re great.

Honest, I do.

I think people need to read them. So many of us live with our heads up our asses. We have no clue what’s going on around us or how to function properly in life without some ‘self-help guru’ telling us what to do and how to do it.

Let’s get real.

In my 60-something years here, I’ve learned a shit ton of things. I’ve fallen more times than I can count or care to admit. I’ve hit rock bottom 3 times; count ’em 3…oy.

I’ve been in and out of abusive relationships, declared bankruptcy twice, opened and closed…
