I sort of have a love/hate relationship with relationships. I think they’re wonderful, but there’s a side of me that sits on the sidelines thinking, “How long is this one gonna last?”

It's almost like I know the end will come, but when and how will soon be determined. And while I love to think of myself as an optimist, at this age (62), I’ve become a bit of a realist, too.

I’d love to meet Mr. Right one day and spend the rest of my days being in love, sending and receiving cute, lovey text messages, having mad, passionate sex, and just enjoying each other’s company.

I’m just not so sure that day will ever come. But there’s hope! Anyway…
