I know I know. We’re all SO fucking fussy. I get it. Who are we to be so picky? Especially after 50. We’re supposed to “settle” because I mean — “my God, Marg, you’re no spring chicken anymore. Maybe you should just settle for Mr. Meh, You’ll Do”.

I got 2 words that will sum up my reply to that quite nicely.

Look. I know how old I am but what the hell does that have to do with anything? I’m not looking for a 25 year old GQ model for God sake. Now don’t get me wrong. If Mr GQ fits the criteria and happens to be 25, well who am I to say no to that? 🥰

But listen, I’m looking for a companion and yes, dammit, I can be as fussy as I want to be.

And if I die alone with 25 dogs, so be it. I’ll die happy-ish. 🐾🐾
